I feel like I have joined the "Big Girls Club". I have wanted for one of these forever and a day. Since my lovely arthritic hands have been getting worse by day it seems, the "want" became a "need" for a good mixer. As much as I cook anyways, it was ridiculous that I didn't have one of these already. But I cannot knead dough anymore and grasping a hand mixer for longer than five minutes makes my hand go numb for about ten minutes. So, it was time. I got free shipping and a free attachment by mail in coupon. Wee! It was perfect timing. I debated on the 90th anniversary addition with the glass bowl but something in me kept going back to the green. *grin*
I just wanted to share my joy. And my lonliness. I have the house to myself for the next couple of days as Brian is away at a wedding in Missouri leaving me with the flu and all alone. Nice, eh? The quiet is nice but it is quite lonely. I need to get buckled down and doing some more major reading sessions as my next paper packet is due on the 19th. Its just coming way too soon for my liking.
Wonder what delight I'll make first in my new joy toy....
